Weekend before robberies reported in Queens

The NYPD is advising all to stay alert after increasing robberies in Queens targeting victims in public surroundings especially evening to early morning.

Bayside reported two robberies in the vicinity of Bell Blvd near the Cross Island Parkway. Fresh Meadows and Kew Garden Hills reported three robberies. Glen Oaks and Bellerose reported two robberies. As for Jackson Heights to Corona, Roosevelt Avenue vicinity continues to have NYPD on alert. The other two locations are Glendale and Ridgewood.

The losers can no longer target commercial or retail fronts due to being well equipped after lessons learned. The NYPD reported innocent people outside targeting for robberies is the new crime wave including using mopeds and other vehicles.

Locals are advised to stay alert while outside.
