Two shot in Nassau and one dead in Suffolk

Police reported two people shot in Elmont. It happened on Sunday around 11:30pm on Joan Court. Call came in for shots fired. Further investigation confirmed a female shot to her legs and a 25 year old male also shot to his legs. So far no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

As for Suffolk, police reported a dead body found floating in Center Moriches. This is by the Holiday Beach near Senix Creek around 1:30pm today.

Also in Suffolk County, on Saturday night during a family event, a 16 year old shot a male, 41 and was arrested.
