NYC Mayor praised love for Labor Day

The NYC Mayor stated no bullet victims at the West Indian Day parade in Brooklyn for his first term and that’s his major accomplishment. But wait, there were almost 15 security checkpoints by the NYPD with handheld metal detectors and bag checks for all going to the parade zone called the frozen zone, another word for gun free zone involving an event with area restriction. All were monitored by surveillance and top NYPD security officials. The parade is the largest in NYC with a stronghold voter base the Mayor needs as well as for the NYC Comptroller, Public Advocate and the rest of elected officials.

Meanwhile, for the long weekend where there was no gun free zone or frozen zone, 9 people shot with 1 dead. Queens reported Corona Park is a bad zone where 4 people were stabbed and two shot over the weekend. On Friday afternoon in Laurelton, a 17 year old girl from Queens Village was shot dead sitting inside a vehicle with another male, 15 who was later arrested for the crime. Apart from bullet victims, stabbing victims added to 11 in NYC.

As for dead body floating, one was found at the Governor's Island today around 1:30pm.
