Two separate homicide investigation on Long Island

Police are in Babylon reporting a homicide investigation at a home. This is on Friendly Court near Park Avenue.

The Crime Scene Investigation squad is working on the scene.

Additional details were not provided after the discovery.

On Monday night around 9pm, Southern State Parkway was closed eastbound by Exit 29 reporting a single vehicle accident with two dead. This is in Massapequa.

According to NYSP, the vehicle, a Nissan 350z, lost control on the parkway and hit a tree. From there, firefighters confirmed the car caught fire.

The medical examiners will conduct autopsies to determine the cause of death.

Both incidents are under investigation.
