Two major fire reported in Queens

FDNY reported two major fires in Queens. The first incident was reported in Bayside. This is on Bell Blvd at a commercial location by 40th Avenue at 40-05 unit. Fire marshals say the incident started around 830am in the basement and extended to the first floor at the local bar.

Around 2pm, another major fire in the Rockaways.

This is at the local church, St Edmunds on Rockaway Point Blvd.

EMS transported two firefighters to local hospitals with minor injuries.

For tomorrow's service, it will be moved to the next church.

The fire marshals are working at both locations to determine the cause of the fire.
