Today is SSP eastbound all lanes closed

Southern State Parkway eastbound has all lanes closed due to a truck struck overpass. This is by the exit above Route 135 lanes which is also affected.

NYS Dept of Transportation enroute to check the damage.

Police are coordinating the traffic.

Heavy delays all around.

Avoid the route for now.

Ongoing investigation.
