Chopper to more police vehicles all over Queens

Around 11:30am today, a police officer on patrol ordered a civilian vehicle to pull over on Jamaica Avenue. Shortly, the driver took off striking the officer. This is by Rufus King Park and the passenger took off from the vehicle after running out.

EMS transported the injured officer to a local hospital.

Now chopper is assisting with the search for the suspect.

Last alert tracked down to the BQE to Whitestone Expressway possibly to the Bronx bound.

As of now, the search is still ongoing in Queens with no arrests.
