Target armed robberies in Queens and Nassau

On Monday afternoon, two people were robbed of $140,000 in Hicksville. The victims, who own a local business, were heading to make a weekly deposit when five suspects approached them. One of the suspects placed the victim in a headlock while the others assaulted the other victim. The NCPD is on the hunt for the suspects who took off in a vehicle with out of state license plates.

Today around 1:30pm, a home invasion was reported at a home in Bayside. This is on 230th Street near 64th Avenue. Police described the suspects as males, blacks armed with weapons pushed their way into a home and then tied them up.

The suspects took off with cash and jewelry in a vehicle toward the Cross Island Parkway northbound according to a witness.

Both incidents are under investigation.
