NYC is safe but Rochester is not. The Mayor will be using this to attack the Governor for the upcoming campaign. So far 71% of NYC has been jabbed and the Mayor is projecting that number to rise to 80’s before his term expires in three weeks. The Governor has not released the percentage for statewide.

The crime rate is 67 homicides already this year, Rochester is on pace for a record high 70 murders in 2021a per capita rate that exceeds Chicago to the number one slot, one of America’s most violent large cities. For NYC, as of December 8, 1,476 shootings were reported with over 500 murders.

Of major cities nationwide with the most homicides, Philly broke the record to 513 as of today. Chicago still holds the record with 756.

The rest are Indianapolis, Indiana, Louisville, Kentucky, Columbus, Ohio, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tucson, Arizona, Rochester, NY, Portland, Oregon, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Minneapolis, Minnesota Nashville, Tennessee and Los Angeles which has 352.

FBI reported nationwide for the year resulted 21,500 murders, the highest since the 1990’s. Three more weeks to close the year and the numbers will continue to increase.

For NYC, according to NYPD for Saturday to Sunday, 3 murders, 9 people shot and 4 stabbed including a female shot in St. Albans. Plenty of shots fired.
