Long Island car crash resulted multiple injuries and one dead

Police were called to a multiple vehicle accident in Woodmere, Nassau County on Saturday around 11pm. Further investigation reported five injuries, a 15 year old girl dead and one in custody. This was a result of DWI and the driver of a Dodge pickup was taken into custody. The other driver of a SUV that was hit is in critical condition. Two passengers of the DWI driver had minor injuries. Police said the driver has been charged with vehicular manslaughter, vehicular assault and driving while intoxicated.
