Suspect wanted for attempted rape in Ridgewood

Police released surveillance photo of a suspect wanted for attempted rap. The incident was reported on Monday around 8am near Cypress and Gates Avenues in Ridgewood. The female victim was pushed and the perp tried to remove her clothing. The 37 year old victim was able to fight back and the perp took off foot. Ongoing investigation.
Update - As of July 8, police said they've arrested the person who tried to rape a woman in Queens earlier this week--a 12-year-old boy. The juvenile was arrested late Tuesday, according to the NYPD. He faces charges of robbery, assault, burglary, sex abuse, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
