Suspect wanted for attempted kidnapping at Green Acres Mall

Police reported a suspect approached a male child inside the Green Acres Mall and was trying to leave with the victim.

When the child's family member saw the incident, the perp was stopped but took off.

It happened around 5pm on January 5 inside the mall. Police reported the suspect is male, white, 30 to 35, 5'5", 140lbs and was last seen wearing a green coat, black boots with red and white pants.

Ongoing investigation.
