Road rage on LIE ended up with shots fired in Kew Garden Hills

Police were called to 72nd Avenue and 150th Street after residents in the area called 911 of shots fired.

When police arrived, they took statements from residents and found shell casings.

However they did not find either suspects or victims at the scene. Several drivers followed the vehicles on LIE eastbound after Queens Blvd reporting road rage to Main Street Exit.

Then right on Main Street to left on 150th Street and 72nd Road where the shots fired around 7:30pm.

Now police are searching around for both drivers. Ongoing investigation.
