Suspect identified for the homicide of barber in Springfield Gardens

On Friday, July 28, NYPD Commissioner Robert Boyce reported Tyson Boateng, 31 is the prime suspect wanted for the homicide of Zanu Simpson, 32 of Hollis. Boyce also confirmed Boateng was a career criminal out on parole for drugs targeted Simpson's large necklace when he was getting into his white BMW. The incident happened on Tuesday, July 25 outside Breezes Island Grill on South Conduit and Lansing Avenues. Now police are on manhunt for Boateng wanted for the homicide after botched robbery.
