State Police arrest Kingston man on charges of child pornography

On March 31, 2025, the State Police Troop F Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) in Kingston arrested Christopher A. Thomas, age 37, of Kingston, NY, on charges related to child sexual exploitation.

Thomas is charged with Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child Less than 16 a Class E Felony. The investigation began in June of 2024 after State Police received a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which led to the execution of a search warrant at Thomas’ residence in Kingston, NY, in December 2024. He is accused of possessing and having access to images and videos consistent with child sexual exploitation.

 This arrest is the result of a joint investigation involving the Troop F Computer Crimes Unit, the State Police Troop F Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Kingston, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
