Traffic stop in the town of LaGrange leads to drug arrest

On March 30, 2025, State Police arrested Angelica M. Vivo, 27, of Bronx, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree (a D felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree (a Class A misdemeanor).

The arrest occurred after a Trooper from SP Poughkeepsie conducted a traffic stop on a 2024 Toyota on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of LaGrange, upon observing the vehicle commit multiple violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

Upon approaching the vehicle, the Trooper identified the driver as Angelica Vivo, 27, of Bronx, NY. Following an investigation, Vivo was found to be in possession of approximately 9.2 grams of cocaine. Vivo was arrested and transported to SP Poughkeepsie for processing and released on an appearance ticket returnable to Town of LaGrange Court on April 1, 2025, at 5: 00p.m.
