Son went to the 105th Precinct and confessed of a homicide

Police at the 105th Precinct reported yesterday around 8:30am, a male identified as Pushkar Sharm walked into the precinct and allegedly confessed to killing his mother. From there, police went to the Bellerose Manor home and reported a woman was fatally assaulted. This is on Winchester Blvd and 90th Avenue. Sharma had blood on his clothing when he showed up at the precinct. EMS tried to revive the mother identified as Saroj Sharma, 65. The daughter had called 911 after finding her mother unconscious. Reported the son was off with medications. Pushkar Sharma was arrested on charges of murder and sex abuse. No details of the sex abuse charge were provided. It wasn't clear if Sharma had an attorney who could comment on the charges.
