Shooting update for Thursday

For Thursday, July 9, there were 10 shootings with 11 victims in NYC. From Monday to Friday, 23 shootings with 28 victims. This includes two teens, 16 an 17 shot in the Bronx today morning around 3am So far, there are no arrests to shootings.
Mayor de Blasi reported today morning's press brief, there will be increased NYPD presence in shooting locations including NYCHA. Also, community activists joining with NCO's for neighborhood walks in the daytime which is the usual time no shootings reported.
