Shooting investigation in Commack

The Suffolk County Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that took place in Commack on Monday, February 16.

The incident was reported around 2:15am, a male victim was reportedly driving southbound on Commack Road when he was shot by a suspect in a vehicle who then took off.

The victim drove himself to the local hospital now in stable condition. ESU remains on Commack Road conducting evidence search. Additional details were not disclosed due to ongoing investigation.
