Sex offender busted for two attacks in Forest Hills

Police have arrested Richard Smalls, 58 of Brooklyn after two victims were robbed and attacked on Queens Blvd in Forest Hills. Smalls is a registered sex offender. The first incident was reported on July 3 of a 50 year old victim robbed by Wetherole Street around 4pm. The second on July 28 near 64th Avenue involving a 72 year old victim. Both female victims suffered injuries after they were robbed. Smalls is charged with burglary, robbery, strangulation and assault. Police also reported a 78 year old woman was robbed by 67th Drive on August 9. He was convicted of raping a 39 year old female in 1981. Then in 2003, he raped a 29 year old woman in Rego Park.
