Robbery continue to spike in Queens despite police patrolling

Northeast Queens continue to report a spike in robberies. On August 5 around 7pm, a victim was robbed on East Hampton Blvd near the Cross Island Parkway in Oakland Gardens.

August 7 reported a robbery on Horace Harding Expressway and 254 Street in Little Neck around 12pm. August 8 reported a robbery on 247 Street and 89th Avenue in Bellerose around 3pm. August 10 reported two victims robbed in Little Neck in the vicinity of 60th Avenue and 249 Street around 9am and 10am.

Also, the NYPD released surveillance pictures of suspects wanted for robbing a victim in Forest Hills. The incident was reported on August 2 around 6:15pm on the corner of Queens Blvd and 70th Road. The suspects took off on mopeds westbound Queens Blvd. The suspects took off with the victim’s Rolex watches.

All incidents are under investigation.
