Road rage leads to shots fired in Queens Village

The NYPD closed off Jamaica Avenue last night around 2am after reports of multiple shots fired on Jamaica Avenue. This is by Springfield Blvd in Queens Village. ESU recovered shell casings.

Detectives have so far conducted a search for victims but came up empty.

This is the latest incident involving road rage.

Earlier the same day on the Grand Central Parkway a victim was assaulted with a hammer near the Northern Blvd Exit for going slow around 2pm today.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
