Queens fire with one dead on Sunday morning

The FDNY reported a fire at a home in St. Albans. The fire started this morning around 7:30am on 202nd Street near 113th Avenue. Firefighters removed all occupants from the home. EMS declared one victim, female, 95 died on the scene. All others were transported to local hospitals.

The fire was brought under control by 8:15am.

None of the neighboring homes were affected from the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
