Reward for strapping a firecracker on goose in Baldwin

The Nassau County animal officials reported of $5,000 reward by Long Island Orchestrating for Nature and PETA for the person wanted for strapping a firecracker on a goose in Baldwin. The incident was reported yesterday at the Silver Lake Park when someone saw the goose with firecracker lit. Luckily the goose ran into the water and did not go off. The goose was taken to the vet and released to the wild with the rest of herd. Anyone with information is asked to contact LION at humanelongisland.org.
