Police to increase patrol around a local school in Richmond Hill

The NYPD reported of an incident in Richmond Hill where a teen was nearly abducted. The teen managed to get away after striking in the groin of the suspect and ran to the school notifying authorities. The incident happened last Thursday around 7:30am in the vicinity of Atlantic Avenue and 102nd Street. The victim, a 10 year old male, told police the suspect was wearing a black ski mask with all black clothing. Police say the teen was heading to the school from home when the incident happened.

Parents are also on high alert in the area after the incident.

So far no arrests.
