Police activity near the mall in Westbury and then Queens

Police have closed off the Old Country Road in Westbury reporting a pursuit that resulted with multiple shots fired when the suspect rammed the vehicle toward the police officers.

This is by the Holiday Inn near the mall when calls came in for assistance. Shortly, the suspect manage to flee toward Queens bound on the Northern State Parkway.

Shortly, the suspect was apprehended after massive police presence from Northern State Parkway westbound.

The incident stopped in Queens by Douglaston Parkway when the vehicle was tracked to an outstanding warrant.

EMS transported two police officers to local hospitals.
