Pedestrian in critical conditon after struck by vehicle on Northern Blvd

Police closed off Northern Blvd and 77 Street in Jackson Heights reporting a pedestrian was struck by vehicle. It happened around 11:30am. The victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police. Ongoing investigation.
