Female victim raped in Coram

Police reported a female victim was raped in Coram, Suffolk County. It happened on Thursday around 1:45pm by Skips Road and Route 112. The victim finished her laundry and was walking in the visible area until she was punched from behind. Then dragged into the wood by the suspect and raped her. Residents reported illegal camping of homeless people in the area. Ongoing investigation.
