One part of Kissena Park closed for investigation This evening one part of Kissena Park was closed for an investigation

This is by 164 Street and Underhill Avenue. Calls came in for an unresponsive person by dog walkers. EMS arrived at the scene and shortly the medical examiner followed by the Crime Scene Unit. A witness says someone was found dead by a group of homeless people who have set up camps by the shrubs.

Due to ongoing investigation, police have not disclosed the details.

The same vicinity remains closed.

The investigation continues.
