LIRR strike ends at midnight

Go to work tomorrow and pay your taxes.

All workers of LIRR are back to work at midnight. The normal schedule for commuters resumes tomorrow at 12pm.

A deal has been reached by MTA and the unions. Pay raise agreed.

The original deal was that the LIRR workers wanted two government appointed boards with 3.5% raise over 4 years with inflation adjusted. The NY Governor rejected the deal at first resulting in a very avoidable strike and later tonight, reversed to all demands.

Soon, the average salary with overtime will be over $200,000 which will not be affordable to survive in NY with the one party rule taxing all with more taxes.
