Old playbook opened for the NYC Mayor

Today much to all surprise, former NYC Mayor de Blasio joined the current mayor for a press statement on ICE at Rikers.

The Mayor supports ICE at Rikers Island working on conducting immigration investigation saying its all about public safety and accountability.

The Mayor quoted, "Public safety is the foundation. Those who commit violent crimes… they should be deported from our country and I CONTINUE to stand by that."

This came after the NYC Council is suing him for working with ICE.

Also, announced $167M allocation to ensure long term pre-K, 3-K programs. There is no word whether de Blasio will endorse Adams but not Cuomo, the current front runner who is now polling over 60%.

Many insiders are speculating de Blasio is an unofficial consultant to Adams with the NEVER CUOMO campaign set for November general election for the Mayoral race. de Blasio quoted, "I have offered a critique of the former governor and I have real concerns about him."

Another surprise from insiders say Elise Stefanik is considering a run for NY Governor against the current incumbent Hochul.

Stefanik is a close ally of Trump with this quote,

"This latest bombshell polling proves what every New Yorker already knows: that we must FIRE Kathy Hochul in 2026 to SAVE NEW YORK. Hochul is the Worst Governor in America and it’s not even close."

Meanwhile, Curtis Silwa, the Republican contender, is optimistic he could win with split votes and other conflicts arising between Mayor Adams and former Governor Cuomo among NYC locals.
