Heavy fire at a home in Floral Park

Firefighters are on Plainfield Avenue reporting a heavy fire at a home in Floral Park. This is in the Nassau County side at the location, 60, a three story apartment building.

All are evacuated from the location and EMS is checking for injuries. The fire started around 2:15pm and still working to bring it under control.

Firefighters are working on the scene.

The cause of fire is to be determined afterward.
