All silent from the cats rescue operation on Long Island

After Chris Arseault's daughter released a statement on the rescue mission, there has been no update on the cats and how they are doing. According to legal sources after reviewing the statements issued to the public, Chris's daughter is the only heir and does have the standing ground to claim the property but not the cats.

That's up to the Board of Directors appointed by Chris.

According to volunteers, many objected to the transfer of some of the cats to local shelters since Chris was in the process of moving the cats to upstate but the fire had many scrambling to determine what's best for the animals.

Lisa Jaeger did an excellent job finding a warehouse to occupy all the cats with volunteers while caring for the injured and nursing them to a healthy stage. Many locals stated it would be best to move all the cats to upstate and not give up for adoption to continue to care for them.

The organization Chris managed, Happy Cats Sanctuary is a legal entity to care for cats that were rescued or surrendered as the main goal to fulfil its mission. This is separate from the property which is disclosed in the will not known to the public.

A legal source says if a dispute arises on Happy Cats Sanctuary, it may end up in court related to cats.

There are two GoFundMe with one inactive and the other not part of Happy Sanctuary Cats but a volunteer who is Lisa.

Now the question remains if that fund which raised close to $1 million is tied up, an alternative fund from local volunteers will be conducted. So far volunteers are spending their own money with the rescue mission.

For now it's all about the cats and their well being by saying thanks to Lisa and Jaeger's Run Animal Rescue Inc. , Frankie John Floridia and Strong Island Animal Rescue League and Bob and Paws of War.

The cats still need your support so stay strong.

Many have reached out to Happy Sanctuary and Lisa Jaeger. The only response is from the volunteers say cats are being taken care of but no details were provided.
