No immediate revenue for NY from gambling has some furious

People in NYC always obey their government who know how to take their money.

This morning, the NY Governor said it was disappointing to know that MGM Empire Casino, one of the front runners for one of three licences, has dropped the bid for a full scale casino which would have generated $3 billion for the state easily. The Mayor of Yonkers demanded investigation but the Governor quoted,

"I think MGM made their own probably financial decision based on what their needs are."

For the press, the MGM quoted, "Since June, the competitive and economic assumptions underpinning our application have shifted, altering our return expectations on the proposed $2.3 billion investment."

As of now, the three proposals on the table for that three licenses are Steve Cohen next to Citi Field, Bally’s at Trump golf course in The Bronx and Resorts World at Queen’s Aqueduct race track.

Many insiders speculate there was a bill all set to introduce in the legislation of online casino and poker being legalized in NY to expand the games. Some of the lawmakers blocked that bill from moving forth statewide. So now the casino licences are in NYC and the bill may be introduced by the NYC Council.

Imagine if that bill passed, then there would be mini-casinos all over the city especially Brooklyn and Manhattan.

It's a wait and watch more like recycling people in NYC emptying pockets.
