New Jersey cops also joined the hunt for the suspect wanted in Nassau County

The NYS Police have issued a press statement on the details of the shooting incident yesterday on the Southern State Parkway in Hempstead around 11:45pm.

The vehicle, Dodge Charger, has NJ temp plates and now the NJ police are also assisting with the investigation.

The trooper is now in stable condition at a local hospital.

So far no arrests.
