NYC Parks Dept scouting around the oval park in Glen Oaks

After residents and kids complained of the public park on 260th Street and 75th Avenue in Glen Oaks of being locked, the NYC Dept of Parks officials conducted their follow ups. According to them, they reported no one except park employees are entitled to lock the park after permission is obtained in writing. The notice must be posted for the public to see. For the public park in Glen Oaks, the little league has permission for training and regular games. However, the little league is responsible for cleanups afterward. If the field is not suitable, they are to report to the NYC Parks Dept for an official to check the condition. Based on the evaluation, a report will be conducted whether to do any repair works and notice advising of the park closure. Furthermore, the park official clearly stated if the park is locked without permission, they will notify police for investigation.
