NYC Mayor was hurt but he went to Chicago anyway

After being hurt for not giving a speaking slot, the NYC Mayor landed in Chicago today afternoon for the third day of the Democratic National Convention.

The Mayor will stay for tomorrow also when the presidential candidate Kamala Harris will speak after her nomination especially on the border and migrant issues.

No details if this is a taxpayer funded trip or not.

Meanwhile, the Mayor signed an Executive Order directing city agencies to find opportunities to build more affordable housing on city-owned sites. This came after his promising project, City of Yes is locked half and half with residents especially Brooklyn and majority of Queens.

For this, the Mayor started a new agency called, City Housing Activation Taskforce which is led by the Deputy Mayor for Housing.

The first task is surveying city owned lots for affordable housing.

Then a guideline to educate people how the city's policies can benefit.

The Taskforce will work with the Economic Development Corporation, Department of Education, Housing Authority, and Health and Hospitals Corporation.

The order is effective immediately and expires on December 31, 2025.

The Mayor is a big fan of protein shakes.
