Dead body investigation in Floral Park

Detectives are investigating a case of a dead body in Floral Park. The body was found on Hillside Avenue and 255 Street by the local Dunkin Donuts.

The incident was reported on Tuesday after calls came in from local patrons and workers in Floral Park.

The medical examiner transported the body pending autopsy.

EMS didn't respond to the incident due to working on additional details.

From a family member who reached out, this was a medical episode in the parking lot found unconscious.
