Domestic dispute turns fatal in Jamaica

Police confirmed a domestic dispute turned fatal in Jamaica. The incident was reported on Tuesday morning around 10:30am at a home where the victim, female, 55, was living.

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital after assaults from a family member, male, 29. The victim died of her injuries.

This is in the vicinity of 108th Avenue and 164 Street.

Further investigation stated from a witness, the male allegedly grabbed a broom and struck in the head of the victim several times.

The male was taken into custody and charged with murder, weapon possession, assault and slew of charges.

The Queens District Attorney's Office is working on the arraignment.

The investigation continues.
