Traffic is a mess all over with lane closures

Both NYC and Long Island are reporting multiple vehicle accidents on the road and highways. Long Island reported several vehicles went into the woods from Southern State Parkway, Meadowbrook State Parkway to Northern State Parkway.

For NYC, FDR reported over 20 vehicle accidents due to exit jams.

Several drivers also reported hitting trees instead of avoiding them while driving.

Rush hour is coming up in two hours.

For Queens, the winner is always the Van Wyck Expressway. For that, the NYS Dept of Transportation is implementing $1.22 billion dollars to widen the parkway between JFK and the Kew Gardens Interchange. That’s $1.22 billion dollars for a 4 miles extension
