NY Governor changed tune to ICE

As per Dept of Homeland Security, the NY Governor has agreed to cooperate with ICE as part of the deal to target violent offenders mostly in NYC. The NYC Mayor is not cooperating with ICE and told all agencies not to assist ICE in any way.

Yesterday ICE was in Queens and today in Brooklyn making arrests deeply upsetting the far left who survive on taxpayer funds with illegal aliens by adding programs.

As for NYPD - America First Legal, a non profit agency just handed NYPD officers a 35-page guide and a legal lifeline. Local governments may not prohibit or restrict officers from sharing immigration status information with federal authorities. Officers who decide the federal statute outranks a mayoral memo now have the law and free counsel if City Hall tries to punish them for it. It will go straight to the federal jurisdiction if the Mayor interfere.

The NYC Mayor and local elected officials can issue all the stern directives they want. Federal law still comes first. Officers who choose to follow it now have the tools and the backup.

The Mayor is now crying and those who support the Mayor can console with napkins.

Border Czar Tom Homan will soon make the announcement of the update when available to the public.

So many New Yorkers are upset since illegal aliens must be treated with dignity, respect and compassion but so far no one took anyone to their home to serve food and room to sleep. Neither did anyone sing a lullaby during bedtime for comfort.
