NY Governor changed tune on migrants

As of this week, 16 police officers suffered injuries during pursuits, apprehension and confrontation involving migrants in NYC. The latest incident in Queens was reported on Tuesday in the vicinity of Gleane Street near Baxter Avenue in Elmhurst where a dispute turned into assault. When police officers arrived on the scene to make arrests, the suspects resisted resulting injuries.

Meanwhile, the Governor quoted this,

“Someone breaks the law, I’ll be the first one to call up ICE and say, ‘get them out of here.’”

This came after five people were arrested for retail thefts as part of resale on the streets of Queens.

However, the far left and liberal elected officials are now joining together to defend the Governor with this quote,

"We need more budget to help migrants with reform and be able to live in NYC with dignity."

Under the incoming President Trump, there won't be any federal funds for migrants for NY. This will leave the Governor and Mayor ro scramble for more budget from taxpayers with something to cough up.

So far no residents in Bellerose, Glen Oaks, Floral Park and Queens Village vicinity have opened their doors for migrants living in Creedmoor despite expressing to help them including the ability to provide housing in their own homes. None have welcomed any migrants to their homes.

Local stores on Hillside Avenue continue to report thefts and increasing on daily basis demanding more police presence.
