Armed robbery at a location in Hicksville

The NCPD reported an armed robbery at a jewelry store in Hicksville. This is at the local East West store on S Broadway near West Marie Street.

The incident was reported this afternoon around 2:30pm.

Police described the suspect as male, black, who took off on foot toward southbound with items.

EMS reported no injuries to the workers inside the location.

Ongoing investigation.
