NHP home fire deemed accidental

Nassau County Fire Marshal reported the fire at 147 N 12 Street on Saturday after 3am was accidental and no foul play was involved.

There were unattended candles but officials didn't disclose of which floor and no smoke detector was found inside.

Additional details were not provided to the public. The family has not spoken to public of anything including funeral details.
