Multiple vehicle accident with one dead in Rego Park

The NYPD reported multiple vehicle accidents with one dead in Rego Park. The incident was reported this afternoon on Woodhaven Blvd by the LIE Exit ramp.

Police say the dead was a motorcyclist involved in the collision.

EMS transported the injured to local hospitals.

The medical examiner transported the body of the motorcyclist to conduct an autopsy.

The area remains closed for Highway CIS who are working on the scene with evidence search.

The investigation continues.
