Multiple dead body investigation on Long Island

The SCPD reported a dead body was recovered in Huntington this afternoon at the local West Hills County Park. Multiple law enforcement are on the scene working.

Last night, another body was recovered in Rocky Point around 9pm. Police say this was a result of suicide awaiting details.

The medical examiner transported both bodies to conduct autopsies to determine the cause of death.

This is the third body investigation on Long Island. The first one was reported last weekend at the local Eisenhower Park of a peace officer from Nassau County where it was confirmed suicide.

The investigation continues.
