Morristown male arrested for menacing 2nd and CPW 3rd

On April 3, 2025, State Police members arrested Andrew W. Mason, age 50, of Morristown, NY, for menacing 2nd and criminal possession of a weapon 3rd.

On April 3, 2025, at approximately 6:51 p.m., Troopers responded to Hutchins Street in the town of Norfolk for a report of a male threatening people with a machete. An investigation determined Mason, and the victim were involved in a verbal argument. During the argument Mason swung and brandished a machete towards the victim while arguing.

Mason was arrested and transported to SP Massena for processing.
