Morrisonville male arrested for CPSP 5th and criminal mischief

On August 20, 2025, New York State Police arrested Wilmer P. Rebideau, age 40, from Morrisonville, NY, for criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree and criminal mischief in the third degree.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:46 p.m. on Kent Falls Road in the town of Schuyler Falls, following a report of a stolen phone. An investigation revealed that Rebideau had been allowed to use the cell phone, but he refused to return it when the owner requested it back. When the Troopers located Rebideau, he was in possession of the cell phone, which he did not have permission to keep any longer. He had also intentionally damaged the phone to the point where it was no longer functional.

Rebideau was arrested and transported to SP Plattsburgh for processing. He was subsequently released on an appearance ticket, which requires him to return to the Town of Plattsburgh Court at a later date in September.
