Crack cocaine seized in lagrange by troop k community stabilization unit

On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m., members of the New York State Police Troop K Community Stabilization Unit (CSU) observed a 2025 Honda Accord traveling northbound on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Lagrange in violation of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.

 The operator and sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as Jeffrey C. Shaw, 44, of Greensboro, North Carolina.

 State Police K9 Vinn conducted an exterior sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics. A subsequent probable cause search of Shaw resulted in the discovery of approximately 65.8 grams of crack cocaine.
