Lake clear male arrested for burglary 3rd criminal mischief criminal contempt 2nd

On August 20, 2025, Christopher G. Chiosa, 53, of Lake Clear, NY, was arrested by the New York State Police for third-degree burglary, criminal mischief, and second-degree criminal contempt.

At approximately 1:54 p.m. on that day, troopers responded to a complaint about a violation of an order of protection on Norton Road in the town of Harrietstown. The investigation revealed that Chiosa had entered the property, intentionally damaged the garage door, and entered the garage without permission. Further inquiry confirmed that a stay-away order was in effect, prohibiting Chiosa from being on the property.
